Part 5: Introduction to Satan’s Goal and Strategy and the Book Understanding The Doctrines of Strategic Holiness Volume 1: The Doctrine of Strategic Components of Holiness.
Satan’s Goal and Strategy: Ensure that you understand Satan’s Goal and Strategy.
-Satan’s Goal: Satan and his demons have already been judged (John 16:11) because of their rebellion against God Almighty their Creator (Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:12-18) and condemned to suffer severe everlasting punishment in the everlasting lake of fire and brimstone (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10). After their rebellion they were cast out of Heaven: “7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:7-9). They are now doomed to be cast into the Everlasting lake of fire and brimstone (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10). So they were in Heaven before their rebellion and they know how awesome, magnificent, splendid, and wonderful Heaven is. Since they were cast out of Heaven because of their rebellion (and thus will never be there again), they have vowed that no human being will enter there. In this respect, they have only one Goal. Their Goal is to do everything possible to prevent humanity from making it to Heaven. That is, Satan’s Goal is to prevent you from making it to Heaven. In other words, his Goal is for humanity to be cast into the Everlasting lake of fire and brimstone and thus his Goal is for you to be cast into the Everlasting lake of fire and brimstone. In other words, he wants you to be cast into the Everlasting fire. That is his only Goal. He wants everyone to follow him and suffer the same severe everlasting punishment as him in the everlasting lake of fire and brimstone. That is why every move that he makes and everything that he says or does is to steal, kill, and destroy humanity in every way possible—in such a way that no one would be able to make it to Heaven (John 10:10a). In a nutshell, Satan’s Goal is for every human being to end up in the Everlasting fire after his/her death here on earth.
-Satan’s Strategy: Satan is your adversary (1 Peter 5:8). He is one hundred percent: 1) the deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9; 13:13-14), 2) the murderer from the beginning (John 8:44a; 1 Peter 5:8), 3) the liar, and 4) the father of ALL liars (John 8:44b). Therefore, Satan’s Strategy is deception. He deceives (Revelation 12:9) in order to murder (John 8:44a; 1 Peter 5:8), and he lies because lying is deception. He is one hundred percent a liar (John 8:44b) and a deceiver (Revelation 12:9; 13:13-14). He is a murderer from the beginning (John 8:44b) and is always seeking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Once again he is one hundred percent deceptive. There is absolutely NO TRUTH in him. His nature is deception, lies, and murder. It’s absolutely impossible for him to speak any truth in any way. 1) Every move that he makes, 2) any action that he takes, and 3) everything that he does or says is one hundred percent deceptive and a lie (regardless of how “nice,” “good” or “wonderful” it may be or appear to man and is ALWAYS) aimed at stealing, killing, and destroying humanity in order to prevent anyone from making it to Heaven (John 10:10a).
Keep in mind that satan your adversary (1 Peter 5:8) has so many deceptive strategies that we will see in future teachings. There are at least five Satan Strategy Lenses that we will see in the future.
-A glimpse of the Everlasting fire: We have just seen above that Satan’s ONLY GOAL is that he wants humanity to be cast into the Everlasting fire. He is your worst enemy and that is why he wants you to be cast into the Everlasting fire and suffer therein forever and ever. The Everlasting fire is, indeed, an awful place. It’s a terrible place. The endless torture, the endless agony, the endless pain, the endless sorrow, the endless anguish, the endless terror, the endless distress, the endless weeping and gnashing of teeth, the endless suffering, the endless lamentation, the endless crying, etc., are indescribable. There is no language here on earth that has the correct vocabulary to describe how awful it really is. Below are some descriptions in the Holy Bible of how awful it is:
1) There is one hundred percent consciousness and feeling (of the five senses) of the torture and agony in hell (Luke 16:23),
2) Hell has everlasting (that is, endless) fire (Matthew 25:41),
3) There is utter darkness therein (Matthew 25:30),
4) There is everlasting torment therein (Luke 16:23; Revelation 14:10),
5) There is weeping and gnashing of teeth forever and ever therein (Matthew 25:30),
6) There is severe everlasting punishment therein (Matthew 25:46),
7) The fire is unquenchable (Mark 9:43-48),
8) Damned souls in hell are eaten by worms forever and ever (Mark 9:43 -48),
9) Damned souls in hell cry for mercy forever and ever to no avail. Each person in hell cries endlessly: “Have mercy on me” to no avail (Luke 16:24a),
10) There is absolutely no forgiveness in hell (Luke 16:23 -26),
11) There is no water in hell (Luke 16:24b),
12) There is absolutely no rest from the torments in hell (Revelation 14:11),
13) There is no excuse for having not obeyed God’s Word here on earth in hell (Romans 1:18 -20),
14) There is nothing like small sin to exclude anyone from being tormented in hell (Matthew. 5:19a),
15) There are endless brimstones raining on damned souls in hell fire (Revelation 19:20; 20:20; 21:8),
16) In hell, fire and brimstone burn forever and ever and worse still, are also under the feet of damned souls as well as all over their bodies burning forever and ever (Revelation 19:20; 21:8),
17) There is absolutely no help or assistance in hell (Luke 16:23 -26),
18) There is the furnace of fire in hell (Matthew 13:50),
19) There is unbearable flame of fire in hell (Luke 16:24),
20) There is unbearable heat in hell (Mark 9:43-48), etc.
Keep in mind that after the Great White Throne Judgment ALL those who are in hell as well as ALL unbelievers of ALL ages will be judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone and will be tormented therein for ever and ever (Revelation 20:11-15). This is the second death (Revelation 21:8) and thus, the Everlasting separation of those to be cast therein from God Almighty.
-The beast (the anti-christ) and the false prophet will be the first category of rebels to be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 19:20),
-Satan and ALL his fallen “angels”/demons will be the second category of rebels to be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:10), and
-ALL unbelievers of ALL ages will be the last category of rebels to be judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (Revelation 20:11-15). They will be tormented therein forever and ever.
Satan knows how awful it will be in the Everlasting lake of fire and brimstone. That is why his Goal is for you to be cast therein. He is so wicked that his Goal is to do everything possible to deceive you to rebel against God Almighty in one way or another and consequently be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone to suffer severe everlasting punishment with him therein.
Warning, Warning, Warning: Satan has vowed that he will not be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone alone. He has vowed to take the whole world into the lake of fire and brimstone. He has vowed to do everything possible to ensure that the whole world is cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. He has vowed that no one on earth will escape his deadly deceptive Strategies. He has vowed that humanity will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone to suffer with him therein forever and ever. He has vowed that he will ensure that you are cast into the lake of fire. If there is anything on earth to be taken seriously, it is satan’s one hundred percent determination and commitment to ensure that you are cast into the lake of fire and brimstone (John 10:10a; 1 Peter 5:8).
Please don’t be one of his victims in the Mighty Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. The Good news is that God Almighty has provided the unique and perfect way for you to escape the above everlasting torture in the Everlasting hell fire. This unique and the perfect way is for you to give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, that is, to be born again and live a Righteous and Holy life all the days of your life here on earth. That is the most important Strategic Decision here on earth.
